Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 11, 2023

Welcome to the Sure Grip Arms payment and registration system. By registering for a course or submitting payment, you ("the Trainee") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Our training programs are strictly designed to meet or exceed current California Department of Justice (DOJ) standards, including the mandates set forth by SB 2 and relevant sections of the California Penal Code.

Key Preliminary Agreements:

  • Compliance: You acknowledge that successful completion of the course requires meeting all attendance, safety, and performance standards as required by law and our certified instructors.

  • Eligibility: By proceeding, you represent that you are at least 21 years of age and are not legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition under federal law (18 U.S.C. 922(d)) or state statutes.

  • Payment & Refunds: Use of this system constitutes a binding agreement to our established cancellation and refund policies, which may include forfeiture of fees for late cancellations or failure to meet safety requirements.

Please review these terms carefully before finalizing your registration. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our payment system or participate in our training sessions.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Final Sale: After 30 days (calendar), all sales are final after the date of initial registration.

  • 30-Day Window: Cancellations made within 30 days of registration (and at least 72 hours in advance before the course starts) are eligible for a partial refund. A 30% processing fee will be deducted to cover administrative costs, seat reservations, and pre-ordered materials.

  • Short-Notice: Cancellations requested within 72 hours in advance of the scheduled training start time or "No-Shows," are not eligible for a refund or credit, regardless of the 30-day window.

  • Processing: Approved refunds may take up to 30 days (business) to fully complete.

  • Course Cancellation: If Sure Grip Arms must cancel a class due to instructor illness or facility issues, students will receive priority rescheduling at no additional cost.

Rescheduling Policy

Trainees may reschedule their training, subject to the following conditions:

  • One-Time Option: Only one reschedule option is permitted per registration.

  • Time Limit: The new training date must be requested more than 72 hours in advance before the start time and the new date must be within 60-days of the original registration date. Requests made after this window may incur a $35 rescheduling fee and forfeiture of the original course payment.

  • Final Sale: Once a training has been rescheduled, it is deemed a final sale and is no longer eligible for cancellation or refund.

  • Availability: Rescheduling is subject to course and class space availability.

Missed Training or "No-Show" Policy

Because we strictly limit our class sizes to ensure personalized instruction, your registration reserves a seat that cannot be filled at the last minute. “No-Shows” are ineligible for any credits, refunds, or rescheduling options.

"Failure to Complete" Training Policy

Inability to meet course prerequisites or pass minimum performance standards will result in no credit, refunds, or rescheduling options offered. In order to attempt the course again, the “entire” registration, payment, and attendance process must be started from the beginning.

Process for Cancelling or Rescheduling

To initiate a cancellation or rescheduling, trainees must contact the Sure Grip Arms Customer Service Department via email or phone. Text messages are not accepted. The request is effective on the date the formal notification is received.
